1 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2012 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 02/03/2014

This vehicle out of service . Could of cause a collision or cause body injury or death , I started the car went about 100 feet or more, car made a loud noise ,car stopped suddenly by itself, then brake part flew right off right on the road. Had to push car to the nearest corner. Called dealer service, called my insurance. I have full coverage, but no response at the time. I signed hardship packet from the bank for help, but was repossessed, so dealer could not pick the car . I made a complaint February 12,2013 to bakersfield Chrysler - Jeep about my brakes squeals and my tires always display low pressure. Service dealer said there is nothing to fix they squeal because of dirt and they are wet and tires need more air because of weather change. I brought this car brand new. I sent a formal written letter addressed to NHTSA, plus documents that will substantiate my situation. Updated 03/13/14.

2 Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem of the 2011 Chrysler 200

Failure Date: 01/19/2012

I bought the new 200 sept 9 2011. On Jan 19, 2012, o again after 1 week, went to the dealer service shop because the low tire pressure monitor light remained illuminated. They reset the tire pressure monitoring system. As I was driving thru the lot, about to leave the dealership, the engine died. So I restarted the car, but it did not run smoothly or sound good at all. It sounded, ran and felt like the fuel mixture and pressure was faulty. Check engine light was now on. I turned around and returned to service dept. And told them what had just happened. They checked into it and after 20-30 minutes said the map sensor need further evaluation and I had to leave the car there. They said map is manifold absolute pressure. They called me later and said the map sensor was bad and needed to be replaced. Notes on the work order say something about a "p0108" maybe it's po108 (zero or an o??) problem. The next morning they said nothing was wrong. Twice since then engine has idled very poorly but it didn't die.
