I’ve been reading about the issues regarding the lights exterior/interior-so many customer complaints about how over the past few decades problems with the interior (dash) and exterior lights blinking, dimming & “ completely going out” while of course driving-how hasn’t this major issue been addressed & recalled, this is a very dangerous & serious problem, I am currently experiencing this while on the road at night-what can be done? our safety is at risk!!.
My vehicle has experienced ecm/ throttle body issues, lights flickering hard to drive vehicle at night because the lights aren't working properly. Transmission and motor problems. Why isn't the electrical issues on recall? I've been on several forums with hundreds of electrical issue complaints. This is not fair.
The indicator lights on the dash come on while driving, witch causes the head lights to go out. I think this is a very dangers thing to happen. Chrysler corporation should recall this model car and take care of the problem before I have an accident.
I notice my lights blinking in the middle of the day when I was behind a big truck. Since then it appears to happen almost everytime I start the car and tends to go away after 30 minutes of running. At night it is very dangerous. The lights will blink and sometimes go completely off. . When I turn them off they come back on. . Then go out again I turn the switch and they come back on. . Sometimes the dash lights also go completely out and other times they go from dim to bright and back to dim.
My dash lights (radio & heater controls) keep going off and on. Can't find the problem. Any ideas?.
While driving app 55 mph at app 8pm at night my cars lights and all the dash lights went out and the car completely stalled. I was able to turn on flashers and coast the car to the side of the road. I sat there for several minutes and then the car restarted. Fortunately there was no one following behind me. I have been out of town on business and used a company car. Upon my return I took my car to our local shop today. They were unable to detect any problems, however shared an article stating more than 150,000 Chrysler owners have had similar trouble. They contacted the nearest Dodge/Chrysler dealer in aberdeen washington who offered no help or information. They could give no reason for the incident. We have not received any recall notice, nor information regarding any possible problems. How should I proceed? I am unable to drive my vehicle for fear this may happen again, and this time I may not be so fortunate. This has created a significant burden and stress. It seems someone should be accountable and that there is a significant liability by not being notified of this significant safety issue. Is this an issue I need my attorney to address? thanks in advance for your help. Kathy spoor.
Exterior lights flicker on and off everyday while I'm driving even though the light knob is in the off position the lights will go on and off(exterior lighting and dash lights). Took it to a few mechanics and they say I need to replace the electrical wiring which costs $400-600!! please recall this is not safe and I'm oviously not the only owner experincing this problem, thanks!.
Lights flashing on and off this is the first time it has done it but I think that is enough cause this is a huge safety issue when your driving at night and all the sudden you have no lights and once I pulled over they still continued to flash on and off I will not trust this car for along time now after dark and that is really sad cause I really enjoy this car.
