Low tire pressure indicator in dash came on, so I was going to check tire pressures. While taking off plastic valve stem cover, the metal valve stem blew off, releasing all the air in front tire. I took it to the Chrysler dealer to have it repaired. ( $170. 00 ) they told me they have seen this before, where it corroded around valve stem cap and blew off. Good thing I was not on the highway.
