Unable to shift out of park when car is cold and first started. Second attempt lets it get out of park. Chrysler states this is not part of recall k39 however systems are the same. When car is warm this does not happen.
Car was running fine went to move it out of someone's way started fine move the car went back out an hour later and the car will not start cranks but does not fire.
When cold cannot shift out of park. Have to restart to get it to shift. Told by Chrysler not covered inder recall k59 transmission interlock problem. All evidence howevr seems to point to the same problem on this year 300. Have appt to have looked at by dealer was told by Chrysler could also be faulty ignition switch which was replaced.
Tipm is bad casing a no start issue and the car will periodically stall and not restart leaving you stranded in the middle of the road.
Car completely shuts down on us. No hesitation, no warning just completely shuts off while driving, park, reverse or at standstill! have taken it to mechanics and to Chrysler 3 times and the can not figure out why it's shutting down! this happens several times daily.

Gov they offered to pay for a rental car for six months. The car is my son¿s. He is 19. He can¿t drive a rental car at his age. Had they offered the money they were willing to spend on a rental car, I could have bought him a used car and sold the Chrysler for the amount owed. This has been a waste of time and your powerless. Regards: cfeldner.

Since the first occurrence, this has happened many, many times . . The engine will not turn over either with the key fob in the ignition or remotely. At times I have had to keep attempting to start the car for as long as 20 minutes before it finally turns over. You can hear something that sounds like electrical relays in the rear of the car, but the engine doesn't seem to engage. Other issues: on one occasion, the car stalled while at a stop light. On several other occasions, while sitting at a stop light, it seems the rear axle is making a "clunking" sound and it feels as though the transmission is downshifting without any input from the driver. I bought this vehicle used a couple of years ago.
The cooling fan broke off a blade which put a hole in the radiator and blew the alternator. I had to replace the radiator = 450. 00 battery - 100. 00 cooling fan = 150. 00 alternator = 185. 00 885. 00 later on the cooling fan should not have broke.

I received a letter back from the manufacture listing this car as a Dodge magnum , although car is a Chrysler 300 , it is at Chrysler Jeep eagle in west palm beach fla eric mizzotti is in the service department, I have been waiting over a week only to be stalled , and also the car was purchased new, at the time I purchased the car the sales man gave me a service book for a Dodge charger and told me its the same thing, why come Chrysler is having such a hard time with the VIN on the vehicle. This is the 2nd tripp they made and then told me they was looking for the wrong car. The letter I received stated I told them I purchased the car used not so supposenly this car was new when I bought it. And has already had a slow start up and idle.
I was driving the mr car all of a sudden it started smoking,I lost power then engine light came on.

The engine goes to idle and will not accelerate. This usually happens when engine is worming up. This has happened about 10 times.
Car will jump forward or stop when driving. This started after about 8,000 miles.
Shortly after starting car, and within a couple of miles, the throttle occasionally stops responding for about 30 seconds and the car will only idle. I have taken to the dealer 4 times, and there are no codes, and occurrence is intermittent and dealer cannot get it to happen. So Chrysler will not do anything about it. This has happened 5 times. The last time it happened when stopped at a light, and could only idle for about 80-100 feet while semi-truck was coming up behind me.
