Engine stalled. Restarted. Cleaned electric control throttle. Ran 2 days with no problem except for rough idling (this was happening before first shut down). Engine stall, restarted. Drove home. Today engine stalled again. Two of incidents occurred while stationary and once in motion.
Electronic throttle control blinking and car has no power. I was on the highway and it would not go when giving it some gas. The pedal was to the floor.
I was stop waiting on my turn and my car accelerate on its own, I wasn't able to stop it and hit another vehicle and still was not stopping till I was able to get it neutral. . Very very scary situation.
Tl- the contact owns a 2010 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while attempting to park the vehicle, the accelerator pedal detached, the brakes were applied and the vehicle would not stop. The contact lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a building. The vehicle will be inspected, diagnosed and repaired. A security guard filed a report but there was no police report filed. There were no injuries. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 86,774. Rk.
