1 Automatic Transmission Control Module problem

Failure Date: 05/13/2014

The check engine lite came on stayed on and the engine stopped. After a short period of time the engine started and the vehicle was taken to the nearest dealer in wilmington, nc. The dealer found dtc for incorrect gear ratio and reprogrammed the transmission control module. Old code was #68065111af and the new #was 68065111ag. Since that period of time when the vehicle speed reaches 40mph it seems that the transmission wants to downshift. Prior to the code change it was very smooth and no problems. I have contacted Chrysler customer service on numerous occasions for a resolution but all they can say is there isn't a problem. What has caused me to submit this problem is the response I received today on my latest inquiry. I feel that this condition is a safety hazard due to you not knowing how the transmission is going to react at this speed, what gear is it possibly going to select. Has this or a similar problem been submitted before. The drivetrain is still under warranty but if Chrysler can't provide adequate technical responses then what do you do. If any additional information is required please contact me and I will provide whatever I have.
