After filling up my gas tank, I noticed the engine light was on and an odor of gas was present in and outside the car. Took the car for service. They checked for a gas leak and found it under the rear seat. I will quote the invoice (165567) dayton andrews inc. . "found gas dripping of side for gas tank coming from the top. Removed back seat to find connector was not fully installed. Installed connector and clear codes. Vehicle checks ok at this time". The service mgr. Said "we cleaned up the gas as best we could, and that the odor should dissipate in a few days". It's been a week and I'm afraid to drive the car. When I do, I need to have all the windows down. This I feel is very dangerous. I've never had any kind of major accident and it seems to me that this connection that was not installed properly was done or not done at the factory.
