This car was crashed June 10 2023, owner went to hospital and car was towed and took to an auto pound . After 24 hours they told us a private company tolled it or stole it . We reported it stolen and payed a report and that's how I got the info of an independent mechanic trying to fix it. Im trying to find my car and the report told me you guys have it.
Car accelerated on its own and refused to stop when brakes were applied. This occurrence jeopardized my safety and the safety of others on the road. Once I realized that no one was behind me I had to slam the car into neutral for it to stop moving abruptly so I wouldn't run into the the car in front of me, but the engine kept revving up high. I then turned it off. Which left me in a dangerous position and blocking traffic.
Car will shut off in mid drive with no notice. I took it to the dealership multiple times and spent over $3,000 in repairs they still haven’t fixed the problem. I’m scared I will get into a accident or worse because this problem continuously happens it has happened on the highway it happens on the street. I don’t know what else to do the dealership does not know what the problem is.
The ac has been repair already for throwing hot air on one side and cold on the other this was done through the dealer now the ac is starting to do it again as well as whistling every thing from repairs have been done by dealer through warranty.
My car started smoking with black smoke. The car started overheating. We opened up the hood and the water pump looked like it exploded because the antifreeze was everywhere. I took my car in twice 1 year apart for the same problem and was replaced with aftermarket equipment from the dealership. I'm wondering if the use of aftermarket is breaking my car apart. Now I'm having a engine issue.
Back up camera image is reversed. When backing up what is on my right shows up as being on my left .
I took my vehicle to a glass repair shop and they said that the windshield glass was separating.
Stoneridge Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram pleasanton, CA sold me this vehicle in March 2019, soon as left the dealer the alternator went out, then the engine light came on. The rear camera do not work, the uconnect do not work-malfunctions. The car was returned and kept for two to three weeks. Returned to me with the uconnect malfunctioning, engine light back on, rear camera not working.

"takata recall" car has airbag lights on after they supposed to had fixed it. Also the gear shifter light is on, and having issues with shifting gears.
I got a recall letter in the mail about 7 months ago I been calling the dealership located in liberal KS but they keep telling me that they will call me when the parts become available but the Chrysler website tells me that the parts are available.
Limited edition 75th anniversary mopar. Continually blows the 25 amp fuse for the acc, anti-sway, & and systems. Alternator has caught fire on on one occassion. Chrysler either doesn't care or does not possess the expertise to resolve the problem. Battery & alternator replaced after fire. 4091 miles later I am experiencing the same blown fuse problem. Chrysler "independant" investigator from eaa (mike sobiecki) filed report to Chrysler a few weeks ago. No call from Chrysler to me regarding this issue (there is a Chrysler case number on this). I need help. I work out of state and I-ve already broke down during interstate travel on I-10.
The car would nor go into any gear,(d, r,n) it kept popping into park and after it set for an hour, it shifted into gear and I was able to drive it home.
Since purchasing this vehicle on memorial day weekend at Chrysler, little falls NJ of 2014, I have had nothing but issues. From electrical problems, to the airbag issues, to later spending over 1300 in repairing the alternator. Within the 1st few days of the purchase the air bag light came on in which I immediately brought the car in for repair and the mechanic stated that there were no issues found. Unfortunately, it was too late to cancel the purchase, per flo I had signed the contract and cannot cancel the deal. After becoming very frustrated with the continuous issues with the vehicle and lack of customer service, I contacted corporate Chrysler, in which caitlin contacted me and scheduled an appointment with rt1 Chrysler in lawrenceville NJ around 7/2015, in which they stated that the air bag had spliced wires. A few days from taking the vehicle home the air bag light came back on. I contacted caitlin to report that the issue still exist in which she never called me back. I called her for several months. I then took the vehicle to the Chrysler in cherry hill and the one in lumberton, all stated no issues found, even after bringing it in when the alternator went on it. I also brought it in to the Chrysler in lumberton since the car had lost power/engine knocking and they stated nothing was wrong until I brought it back to cherry hill Chrysler and they found that it was engine problems. Corporate Chrysler and all these dealers have continued claiming that they cannot find any airbag issues or when they claim they find something, it has been repaired but yet the problem still exist. Bottom line, all these dealers and corporate Chrysler have continued putting my life, my families life and others in danger. I fear for my life and my families. This car is nothing but a luxury lemon and corporate Chrysler needs to replace the vehicle since they cannot fix it.
At work went to park in the garage space drove over a piece of glass so I put my car in park it rolled out of gear and hit brick wall.
My car would not shift into park, it stopped in reverse. We had to then push the shifter into park.
Total engine failure: car in motion 60 mph freeway, low battery warning flashed, external mirror vehicle proximity flashed and stopped working, audio shut off, tachometer and speedometer cycled 0 to max reading, pulled car off highway, transmission would not go into park. Applied e-brake. Exited car. Engine rpms max to low for 10 minutes, top of engine coolant tank blew up into closed hood. Total repair estimate exceeds $ 8,000. 00 engine replacement reccomended, does not address electrical system failure has not been addresed yet.
Takata recall during accident the airbags did not deploy and now makes a noise when the car is turned off. Did not get a recall that the airbags was bad at the time before or after the accident that happened on a city street. In case there is more info needed the name of my insurance company is peak property and casualty insurance corporation p. O box 1080 freeport , IL 61032-1080.
There is a knocking coming from the dashboard related to the ac. I had this same issue with the 2006 Chrysler 300 and now the same issue with the 2012 as well as my friend, she has a 2006 with the same issue. Every time the ac is turned off there is a knocking for about 15 seconds.
As I was backing up the car, the blind spot detection light came on and indicated that it was unavailable on both the right and left side. Then it started flashing and dinging. I took it to be repaired and both the left and right sensor needed replacing due to nothing I had done. The cost would be $2090. The service manager indicated this problem had occurred in Dodge caravans and Chrysler town and country vans. Is this due to poor quality parts, and are there enough occurrences that this should be a recall? although these sensors are not essential, they come at great expense to help make your driving experience much safer.
2012 Chrysler 300 c with approximately 12,480 miles had just been serviced at the autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep dealership in spring, texas. Service had included engine/oil/filter change, balance/rotation of tires. After accepting vehicle from service department, the owner just drove out of the dealership parking lot at approximate speed of 40 miles per hour (mph) the vehicle immediately failed to increase speed using the accelerator pedal. A quick scan of the instrument panel indicated approximately 1000 rpm's engine and the "check engine indicator" light illuminated. With no ability to increase vehicle sped thru continued efforts, a driver was able to immediately move the vehicle to the far right lane due to an clear opening in traffic. The vehicle was stopped using the brakes, the engine was switched off, and restarted after approximately two minutes time with the accerator now working but with the check engine light still illuminated. The vehicle was immediately returned to the dealership. The dealership transmission expert connected the vehicle to a computer which indicated the issue had happened on two occasions, this date and at an earlier date by another driver but had not been reported to the vehicle owner. The transmission expert drove the vehicle a short distance to try and replicate the problem but no issues were observed. Dealership wanted vehicle owner to accept vehicle as some sort of transmission gearing or software issue was suspected. Due to possible future , death or injuries to owner or others, vehicle was not accepted by owner due to additional liability issues. Vehicle was left with dealership to drive further forsolutions to be devised for repair of the vehicle to make these Chrysler 300's safe for highway use. Vehicle is equipped with the 5. 7l 363 hp engine.
This is a follow up to NHTSA id number 10713859 filed 04/30/2012. 2012 Chrysler 300c had just been serviced at autonation Chrysler Dodge Jeep in spring, texas, service consisted of engine oil/filter replacement, balance/rotation of tires and replacement of windshield wiper blades. After driving out of the dealership parking lot approximately 3/4 mile the vehicle failed to accelerate when trying to increase speed while attempting to enter busy I-45 freeway. Engine rpm's were noted to ba about 1000 rpms, vehicle was immediately returned to dealership. Upon computer evaluation, the incident was noted to be second occurrence of fault. Dealer kept vehicle 7 days and drove 51 miles on for or five attempts to replicate incident. Incident was not replicated. As per discussion with dealership service manager j. , dealership has not nor do they intend to file a report on incident for submission to Chrysler corporation. Mentioned they don't file such incidents! only research their in-house system for similar incidents. Vehicle owner is not pleased with this unprofessional attitude and business culture! owner will file complaint directly with Chrysler corporation. Let's hope that no accidents, injuries or deaths occur due to this unsafe vehicle or similar 2012 Chrysler 300's.
Vehicle was recalled for notification # p60. Dealer has not yet called us for the fix. I have called several times and they say the parts are not in. We received the first recall Feb. 2, 2015 and the second today March 16, 2015. No response from dealer. .
Two recent issues with this vehicle. Abs/ecs warning light began coming on intermittently then over one weeks¿ time it stayed on for longer periods. Light now stays on constantly after starting and moving the vehicle a short distance. Recently was driving at about 30 mph and the car hesitated, check engine light came on and service transmission warning appeared on dash display. The vehicle drove like it was in low gear engine rpm 2000 and moving under 20 mph. Pulled the vehicle into a safe spot tried to put the vehicle in park. Worked the shift lever however the car would not go into park nor could I turn the vehicle off. Eventually was able to get the car into park, not sure exactly how I did it, but was able to shut the vehicle off. Contact Chrysler road side assistance and they dispatched a tow truck to service the vehicle at a local dealer. The dealer service shop is back-up and will be a couple of days before they can examine the vehicle. Spoke to Chrysler technical support they conformed the vehicle has no existing recall notices.
Faulty alternator, alternator fails and cars engine powers off while driving, first "battery saver mode" indicater comes on on message board then goes off and dealer cannot find the problem, it comes back on few days later and goes off. Dealer will not know problem. After message is displayed car is running on battery power only and eventually kills battery and alternator. "battery saver mode" message goes off when car is powered off when first appears. This a common problem and very costly. Very dangerous if vehicle is traveling on highway.
On 2/23/2014 my leased 2012 Chrysler 300 vehicle was parked in a store parking, out of no where- white smoke appeared from car's vents and center console. I turned my vehicle completely off, and approximately 3 to 5 minutes later entire cab begin to fill with thick white smoke. . . Then flames appeared from console. . . Scary. . Isn't the word!!. My children and I quickly removed ourselves from the car. A passerby in shopping parking lot noticed the electrical burning smell and ran back into store to retrieve a small fire extinguisher. . Luckily, he was able to control the fire, prior to the fire brigade arriving on the scene. The front passenger seat and center console were burned considerably, as well as contents sprayed from fire extinguisher remain throughout the car. . Not to mention the stench of the horrific electrical burn smell is still embedded in the interior. . Thank god we are all alive!!!. I have contacted Chrysler customer service # numerous times to provide all essential info(VIN #, chain of events. . . . Etc. As of this date (3/1/2014), still no response to as when the car will be inspected. . . Again smh. . . Sad but true!!!. . Chrysler displayed no empathy regarding the possible loss what so ever. . . And continue to drag their feet by not scheduling an inspection of the vehicle by one of their fire specialist!!!!. (knowing that it is a possibility the electrical malfunction is Chrysler's liability- opposed to mine!!) I will proceed legally if I must!! ,,again sad. . . But very true!!!!.
Driving on highway with the cruise set at 75 miles per hour when all of my dash lights came on and I had no gas power. I didnt hear any noises or notice anything suspicious. When I pulled over to the side of the road the car stops and wouldn't start, I was 50 miles from home and had it towed, the dealership tech said the engine ran out of oil, it was fine the day before. . . Later they say timing chain was broke, now they issued a timing chain recall for my model year and the Chrysler has offered to pay half the $7000 to $8000 bill, this should be covered completly including my 2 week car rental.
