Vsa Warning Light On problems of the 2013 Chrysler 300

While driving my 2013 Chrysler 300s on the highway the lights on my dash starting flashing. About another mile my radio shut off and would not come back on. I came upon my exit and stopped at the stop light and then my stability control and abs light came on. I drove a little further and I heard this whining noise and a message popped up. I checked the message and it said "battery saver mode". I turned in to my neighborhood and right when I was turning the corner the car completely shut down causing me to lose control (no power steering) and no brakes. When the vehicle came to a complete stop the dashboard lit up again and the windshield wipers came on I looked at the control and they were not turned on and I could not turn them off. Eventually the wipers stopped and all power was lost, no inside lights, no radio, no touch screen, no head lights. . . Nothing! I googled "battery saver mode" and read that it was possibly my alternator. I then saw where there was a recall for Chrysler alternators with descriptions of the same scenario that I just had, so called the recall center. I was told that my car did not fall under the recall because I did not have 160 amp (I have 180). From what I've been reading there are issues with the 180 amps also, but Chrysler has not recalled those. I was told by the recall center to hold on to my receipts for the repairs because "if and when" they do a recall on the 180 amps I can be reimbursed. Mean while those of us with the 180 amps are taking a chance on our lives! come on Chrysler you all know that these alternators are bad. . . . 180 and 160 amps!!!.
