Possibly a failing axle shaft. Which after researching it is a common problem in this make & model.
Blend doors keep failing. Keeps switching from cold to hot.
At least 20 times. Driving down the highway doesn't matter if driving straight or cornering. The engine dies. Once I get it stopped. I put it back in park. Restart the engine and it runs. There are no codes, and can't get it to duplicate the problem at the garage. I've searched the internet and this seems to be a continuous problem and no one is finding the problem. From what I've read dealerships are just throwing parts at the problem. This is a safety issue. My daughter was almost rear-ended today.
Car is going crazy key won't work then it will then it won't mover then it won't work wipers stay on even when off all lights go on computer won't get a scan when it's not working it's an electric tcm pcm issue that was a recall for these cars but was told for some reason mine wasn't part of the recall now I'm having issues with that same electric and pcm tcm issue collin at Chrysler customer care told me I had to make a complaint my car is unable to move out of no where greatly hindering me.
I was driving on the highway with cruise and my car started to go limp, then started to accelerate without my foot on the gas. Then my check engine light came on and I pulled off and turned the car off and back on. It drove fine but when I went to have it checked they said it threw a code for my tcm. My coworker also drives a Chrysler 300 and had the same issue in the same week! he never got his checked out but his car stopped accelerating and then started again while on cruise. This is happening to a lot of Chryslers so I looked up recalls and it looks like the tcm was recalled in the 2016 300’s but my 2015 and his 2015 is having the same issues.
My uconnect radio did a firmware update. And my rear view backup camera, and my satellite radio with my navigation system stopped working. Along with my throttle body error light came up. Also the car was parked in the driveway standing still.
Vehicle has duel driver and passenger climate control. Driver side will not switch to heat. I tried it will moving and while stationary.
Car was making terrible noise as it ran stationed are running so after having it looked at I was told it's all of my pulleies, this car has less than 45000 miles on it.
The center console and both front door panels need to be replaced as the panel is pulling away from the doors and the console. Research shows that when the panels on the door requires repair, this could render side front air bags ineffective and the car can easily lose heat and allow cold air inside. Similarly, with the center console, this could cause the p/n/r/d gears to malfunction. I did contact Chrysler (case# 80922998) as was advised that my claim was declined because the 2-year warranty had been exceeded. My car is a 2015 Chrysler 300. The issue did not start until 2020. Research also revealed that many of the Chrysler 300s are experiencing this issue. Also, I did have the dealer to take a look at the panels when I went to have my car serviced on 10/27/2021 and was advised to submit a claim with Chrysler. Finally, please note that my car is a 2015 with only 19,609 miles as of 10/27/2021.
First, the top of my dashboard came unglued. Second, front suspension has a rattling noise when driving of a bumpy road. Finally, my front head tend to swing back and forth instead of raising up smoothly when turning on my car. Hopefully I don't get any more problems with my 300 being that I just got the car in December.
The driver & front passenger door panels are separating at the top of the door where it meets the window. Took the car to sierra Chrysler dealer & asked to fix the problem & he said this was common to happen with this model. Asked if it was covered under our warranty & he replied "no" but we could pay over $900 to replace each panel. We are disgusted after taking care of this car to find out the door panels are defective and its known by Chrysler. This should be repaired at no cost to me. This car has under 36,000, well maintained & the inside door panels are separating from the door.
My 300 has been shutting off while driving for no reason very scary happens in the middle of traffic no warning no engine light nothing then message on dash says put in park to start and it starts right up.
Rear camera goes in and out whenever it wants to. Interior (the making of the car) is slightly coming away from frame. (never in my life have I seen anything like it).
Rear camera goes in and out.
Driver side and back seat console vents blows out cold air while passenger side vents blows out heat while the heat is on.
Shifter stuck in park.
Ac on drivers side only blows cold air. Even when sync is turned on, passenger side will change in temperature, but drivers side will still be cold.
Takata inflator I am getting an image of all four tires keeps inflating and deflating in different air size of all for tires like it has mind of its own and it acts if it has an air pump built in the front tires says left tire has 32 and right tire has 33 then all in a sudden the left tires inflats air and it becomes 34 right side stays the same 33 then back tires does the same thing it gives its own air and takes away air on the other side. What is going on it seems dangerous and the image of my car is on dash broad. It was in motion while I am driving and even if I park the car it changes air level of the tires when I am driving on freeway or on the side streets. I think its the leveling I thought it needed air and I put air and it continued to put air on its own and take air out on its own. There is a recall on the data system do you think that someone has gotten into the system of the car? I have a chysler 300 year 2015 I just go this car two months ago this is scary cause I never in life experience this but I feel this is danagerous.
Ive owned my 300c for less than a year and all of the suddden my a/c control from the drivers side only came out cold when I had it on high but on the passenger side did come out hot I dont know if this has happened to anyone else happened last month and it still doesnt work.
I purchased my 2015 Chrysler 300 limited two days short of a month. I bought it used from carmax, with 15k miles. I have put on about 1k miles so far, and I am noticing a burning smell - like heated ceramic, while inside the car when I am stationary, after the car has been driven for about an hour (highway and street). Smell is more noticeable outside the car (after I park) and when I looked under the hood for possible leaks - no leaks present, but the smell is coming from the driver's side of the engine. I have also noticed that the transmission is shifting a little harder between gears (not by much, but noticeable from how it drove a month ago off the lot). Use the vehicle for commute to work and running around town. I don't race the engine, and try to keep the gas mpg as high as possible (light gas pedal foot). Concerned that I see there were recalls for the alternator on previous model years - burning up and causing fires. Alternator is in the same area as the smell. No recalls or complaints on file for this situation for my year and model.
Car shift harsh when stoping or coming to a stop. Dealer says its part of learning process. My car now has 45k miles. First complaint was around 1000 miles. Everytime I take the car to the dealer they always say the same thing.
My rear sunroof exploded. I was driving down a highway at approximately 55 miles an hour on an overcast day with an outdoor temperature of approximately 52 degrees (f). My windows were all closed. While driving I heard a big bang, and within seconds I noticed that me rear sunroof had a large hole in it. I immediately drove the car dealership where I had purchased the car 15 months ago. They inspected the damage and noted that it was an outward explosion as the remaining glass in the sunroof was pushed out, not in. They also inspected the car for any signs that something might have exploded within the car and shot through the roof - there were absolutely no such signs. The car dealership contacted Chrysler to see if they would cover the damage as it was obviously the result of substandard glass or a design flaw. Chrysler denied coverage. I searched the internet for exploding sunroofs and found out that my experience wasn't unique. There were many accounts of other such incidences, and even some recalls by one or two car manufacturers. My concerns are: 1) safety. I was alone in the car, and was not hurt. However, I'm not sure if I had backseat passengers if they would have escaped injury. I am also concerned about my safety if the front sunroof (over my head) would have exploded instead of the rear sunroof. 2) responsibility. The denial of any responsibility for this incident by Chrysler is troubling. I still have the original warranty and even purchased extended warranty for this vehicle. This explosion was obviously created by a design flaw or the use of substandard glass. 3) cost. Though no fault of my own, I have to pay for the rather expensive repair.
