I got into a car accident in 08/28/25 @8:30pm and on impact I was going about 50-55mph and not a single one of my air bags came out. I also know that there are no recalls on my vehicle for air bags.
The contact owned a 2022 Chrysler 300s. The contact stated that while driving at 40 mph, she hit another vehicle that attempted to merge into another lane of traffic. The airbags did not deploy upon impact; as a result, the contact hit her face the steering wheel. The contact was taken to the hospital where she was treated for pain to her back, face, and both shoulders. A police report was filed. The contact's vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic where it remained in their possession. The dealer nor the manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The contact deemed the vehicle was a total loss. The failure mileage was approximately 5,000.
