Fog Light Switch Problems of Chrysler 300

I noticed one of the headlights wasn't working while the vehicle was running & parked. The next day when I turned on my bright lights all of the lights failed, including the rear lights. This happened after dark while driving so I'm lucky to have not been involved in an accident! from then on the automatic headlights would not work. To get any lights to come on I had to turn the knob and random lights would work. The next day, only the fog lights worked with no rear lights other than when braking. 2 days later, all the lights work except the 2 headlights! craziest thing ever!.

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated the gear shifter lever failed to operate unless the shifter cover was removed and the cable loosened which allowed the gear shifter to operate correctly. When driving in cold weather temperatures the transmission would jerk with hesitation. There was a recall under NHTSA campaign id numbers 05v460000 (power train:automatic transmission); however the VIN was ineligible. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for repair. In addition, both engine fan motors failed to operate and one of the plastic fan motor blades was defective and caused a burning odor whenever driving. Also, the fog light lens cover melted. The contact replaced both fog light assemblies. The vehicle was being repaired at an independent repair shop. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000. The VIN was unavailable. Js.
