Automatic Transmission problems of the 2005 Chrysler 300C

Three problems related to automatic transmission have been reported for the 2005 Chrysler 300C. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2011

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the transmission shifter would not move from park. The dealer denied any assistance with repair to the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure was not remedied. The failure and current mileage was 82,000. Nw.

2 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 06/04/2010

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300 c. While driving at 30 mph, the contact noticed that the vehicle would no longer accelerate. The vehicle was towed to the dealership where the contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The current and failure mileages were approximately 87,000.

3 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 04/20/2010

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300c. The contact stated although the vehicle was parked with the engine running, it suddenly began to move in reverse and crashed through two poles, into oncoming traffic and ended up crashing into a neighbors fence. The contact sustained injuries but no police report was filed. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis but the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. The current and failure mileages were approximately 95,000. Updated 8/4/10 the consumer was knocked to the ground by the drivers side door when he attempted to jump in the vehicle to stop it.
