Instrument Panel Failure problems of the 2005 Chrysler 300C

The contact owned a 2005 Chrysler 300c. While driving approximately 55 mph, the entire instrument panel failed and the contact smelled a strong burning odor inside the vehicle. The contact pulled the vehicle to the side of the road and noticed smoke and large flames coming from the trunk. The fuel tank exploded and the vehicle became engulfed in flames. There were no injuries. The fire department extinguished the fire. The vehicle was destroyed and towed to an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not notified. The approximate failure mileage was 134,646.
