One problem related to carrier/rack has been reported for the 2008 Chrysler 300C. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The drivers door bottom hinge has cracked off it's base, causing the door to sag. When door is opened or closed it makes a loud cracking sound. You can see where the hinge is still connected, but the "plate or outside part of the door " has cracked. This is when car is stationary. Just opening & closing drivers door.
