2001 Chrysler 300 m customer states that substantial cracks in the vinyl dash boards directly over the passenger side air bags*.
The trim around the doors is badly peeling, cracking, totally falling off. I think that the quality of products they use must be bad. Cars are too expensive to have to deal with that. The trim is very expensive to replace and with a car that isn't that old you shouldn't have to anyway. If there is such a problem with this they need to correct it.
After about 3 years the dashboard started cracking. Same place as everyone else, over the passenger side airbag. This crack has grown in size to over 12 inches. The other problem is the trim on the car door ways. All doors this has started to peel off. Some kind of plastic materila.
There is an approximately 7" long crack on the passenger side dash. The car has not been hit or abused in anyway to cause this damage.
