10 inch crack in dashboard above the passenger's side airbag. It also has started to crack the wood grain, pretty soon it will be from windshield to glove box. A 2001 car that' has been garaged and well taken care off, and they were saying it was sun damaged. After doing my own investigation on the internet, I found out that there were a lot of people who also had the same problem, and everyone was helpless as to what to do! I am worried that the airbag may not deploy properly in an accident. Why won''t daimler/chrsyler do something. Was it because they could not afford it.
Cracked dashboard pad above passenger side airbag. Seems like safety issue if it can affect airbag deployment.
