Tl-the contact owns a 2004 Chrysler 300c. (na) the contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v31300 (air bags) however, the part needed to perform the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Js.
5. 5 inch crack developed on inside left of airbag housing on passenger side of dashboard. Suggest that airbag safety may be compromised.
12" crack of dashboard cover opened up on left side of passenger air bag and is getting longer. Very disappointing for a high priced car which I have owned since new.
