The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and attempting to slow down, the vehicle would jerk and stay at the same speed or stall without warning. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the vehicle was stuck in third gear. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. 2 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 01/07/2014

The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler 300m. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted and was not taken to a dealer or mechanic for diagnosis or repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 38,000.

3 Car Stall problem

Just driving down the road and my car stalled then lurched forward while I was in an intersection almost causing an accident. The repair shop stated a sensor had to be reprogrammed due to problems with the flywheel. I was told this problem will happen again as the flywheel in my vehicle is known to cause this problem. Something about flexing and cracking. It is my belief that this is a manufactures defect.

4 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 12/14/2006

1. Interior lights continue to intermittently flash on and off. 2. Engine light illuminates for various time period and then goes off. 50/50 with power stalls. Camshaft position sensor was replaced.

5 Car Stall problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2006

The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler 300m. The vehicle would intermittently stall without any prior warnings. As a consequence his risk for a vehicle crash was increased. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the cam shaft along with the crank-shaft position sensors were replaced. Two days after the repair the failure resurfaced. The interior lights also flickered on and then off and the steering column began to vibrate violently. None of the repairs have remedied the failures. The manufacturer was notified, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was 22000. The current mileage was 84,000.
