Chrysler 300M owners have reported 2 problems related to headlight switch (under the exterior lighting category). The most recently reported issues are listed below. Also please check out the statistics and reliability analysis of Chrysler 300M based on all problems reported for the 300M.
Dashboard developed a 10 -12" crack just to the left of the passenger side airbag. Do not know if the airbag system will work or not. In any event this seems to be a manufacturing problem, by the number of complaints. Dealer(s) are of no help as the vehicle is out of warranty. This vehicle has also had the common problem of the headlamps/instrumentation lights flickering. Headlamps would flash on/off along with instrument lighting. Headlight switch panel replaced, but the problem returned.

Dash lights blink on/off when head light switch is in the automatic position. The automatic head light switch is no longer reliable. Lights need to turned on/off manually. At the dealership I was told this was a common problem with the 300m, this faulty switch is not covered under warrenty. One year later, interior dash lights now blink on/off causing distraction. Drivers seat position button is now starting to move up and back during incorrect times. At times seat power doesn't work at all. Totally electrical???.
