Electrical Equipment problems of the 2008 Chrysler Aspen

The contact owns a 2008 Chrysler Aspen 4x4. The vehicle makes a warning sound if any of the doors are ajar while the engine is running. The contact stated that the rear hatch door does not have a warning sound when it is open. The vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. The current and failure mileages were 745. Update 09/10/08 the consumer stated the rear hatch was not secured. The light which was suppose to inform her there was a problem was not visible due to the light coming in through the roof hatch and making the information un-readable. The consumer stated all of her items fell out onto the highway. Updated 09/16/08.
