Chrysler Aspen owners have reported 1 problem related to tank filler pipe and cap (under the gasoline fuel system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I own a 2007 Chrysler Aspen that I can no longer fill the gas tank without fuel splashing out of the fill pipe near the end of filling. I started the complaint in Dec, 2009 when I took it to the dealer. They replaced the rollover valve after keeping it overnight. I don't drive it around locally very often so the car sits in the garage a lot between highway trips. Several months later while on a trip, the same thing happened again. I've asked the dealer about it but get blank look as though they've never heard of that kind of a problem before. Apparently, after googling the problem, many people are having the same problem. It seems dangerous to me (after it splashed on me the first time it did it). Since then, I've learned to stand clear or cut off the fueling short of a fill.
