Three problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Cirrus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While crossing an intersection the consumer's vehicle stalled right in the middle of the intersection. After a few tries the vehicle was restarted. After driving a few feet the vehicle stalled once again. Also the windshield wipers work intermittently when it rained. When the wipers were on intermittent they would move very fast for that speed.
Brake pads wore out prematurely at 36,000 miles which ruined rotors - $350 repair. Car stalls when slowing - not able to identify problem. Air conditioning compressor failed at 57,000 miles - $1100 repair.
