Two problems related to trunk lid lock have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Cirrus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The trunk lid did not stay in the open position, passenger sustained head injuries when removing items from vehicle.
The trunk lid will not stay up and has caused several injuries.
