One problem related to air brake antilock assembly has been reported for the 1997 Chrysler Cirrus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving 10 mph, flames were bursting from rear left speaker. Fire department put out fire. Factory representative determined that fire was caused by wiring of rear brakes getting hot. Damage to vehicle was $ 5000. 00, no injuries. Consumer adds chyrsler has denied any responsibility.
