One problem related to gas recirculation valve (egr valve) has been reported for the 1998 Chrysler Cirrus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Egr stuck, causing a sudden loss of power which almost resulted in a rearend crash. Dealer was able to duplicate defect, and has replaced egr.
