One problem related to other fuel system tank mounting has been reported for the 1999 Chrysler Cirrus. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Gas guage stated well over a fourth , service manager said the gas tank concaved giving a false reading. Car had to be towed and gas lines had to be flushed out. Tow bill plus repair bill over $200. 00. Service manager said it was a defect with the gas tank. (hot weather made it concave) said to replace gas tank cost would cost over $600. 00. I orginally bought this car in winston salem, nc at northpoint Chrysler but I took it for service to the mount airy , nc location, patterson Chrysler.
