Gasoline Engine problems of the 1996 Chrysler Concorde

Two problems related to gasoline engine have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 08/05/2003

Defective engine leading to complete failure. The car has 81,000 miles on it. He engine will have to be replaced.

2 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 07/08/1998

While driving, noticed a strange smell; black smoke started coming from dash ducts. Pulled over, shut engine off, and looked under hood. Vehicle then caught fire in the engine compartment.
