One problem related to speed control linkage has been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While accellerating away from full stop, accellerator either stuck or was pulled down then stuck. Driver could not break free. Tried pulling up and stomping on pedal. Applied aggressive braking and luckily brought car under control to full stop. Driver remembers seeing 4,000 rpm. All else happened too fast. Could not duplicate. Linkages and other mechanical areas appear ok. Will check with dealer tomorrow.
