Four problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1997 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving at 40 mph the vehicle collided with another vehicle head on. The consumer suffered a herniated disc in the back and leg and leg muscle sprains. The police arrived and cited the consumer for driving in a safety zone. The consumer was wearing a seat belt at the time but the airs bag did not deploy.
Consumer was traveling 35 mph when another car pulled in front of consumer's vehicle, and consumer hit other car on passenger's side. Upon impact, none of airbags deployed.
Driving 55mph in rainy weather when vehicle hydroplaned. Spun across 5 lanes & hit barrier w/passenger's side. Then spun & hit right rear. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed. Mechanic said should have deployed due to location of impact.
There was a two-car accident ahead on highway. Tried to avoid hitting them, but rear ended a vehicle. Rear. Neither airbags deployed. Contacted dealer.
