Two problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly have been reported for the 1998 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both front/rear seat belt buckles failed. Intermittently seat belt buckles released the seat belt latch. This caused the consumer to pull over to buckle in the child safety seat. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
The female portion of the seat belt buckle in the front center seat is cracked. The dealership is aware of the problem. The part has been on back order since August of 1998.
