Five problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Deer ran in front of car and the steering wheel would not turn the vehicle. She lost control of vehicle and it hit some trees. Upon impact, the front drivers or passenger air bags did not deploy. It happened without warning. Dealer/ manufacturer have not been contacted yet.
While driving 50 mph consumer's vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. Upon impact, both frontal air bags failed to deploy. Driver sustained minor injuries, and was transported to a hospital. Vehicle was towed to a body shop for inspection. . . . . . . Driver sustained a broken nose, requiring two surgeries to date and will require further work.
Vehicle suddenly accelerated after applying brakes, after shifting from reverse to drive vehicle took off and ran into several trees/ a concrete wall, and two other trees before stopping. Dealer and manufacturer were notified. Consumer stated vehicle was totalled, also airbags did not deploy.
The vehicle suddenly accelerated when the consumer attempted to park the vehicle which resulted in a crash. Upon impact the air bags failed to deploy.
The seat latch failed during a rear end collision, as a result the driver was unable to steer the vehicle clear of any other vehicles and subsequently hit two other vehicles, the right front portion of the vehicle was heavily damaged but the passenger air bag did not deploy. Nlm.
