Front Seat Recliner problems of the 2000 Chrysler Concorde

Three problems related to front seat recliner have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Seat Recliner problem

Failure Date: 04/12/2006

: the contact stated upon sitting in the front driver's seat, the back of the seat fell backwards into a reclined position. The vehicle was seen by a dealer for inspection who determined the seat failed due to normal wear and tear. The service department replaced the seat recliner which corrected the problem.

2 Front Seat Recliner problem

Failure Date: 04/09/2001

While driving, driver's seat collapsed backwards, causing driver to lose control of vehicle.

3 Front Seat Recliner problem

After the consumer made two appointments to have the recall for the seat recliner repaired, the consumer was informed the parts were not available. Recall # 03 v 035 000. The consumer stated that work was completed.
