Ignition problem #1

: the contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the key would not turn in the ignition. The dealership was notified and they suggested putting the vehicle into park before attempting to start it. The vehicle was put into park and still would not start. No repairs have been made.

Wiring problem #2

Check engine light keeps coming on and the vehicle will not start. This happens intermittently. However, the check engine light stays on. Consumer was told that vehicle would be taken to the Chrysler, but consumer thought that the used car dealer where the vehicle was purchased was running a scam because as long as they've had the vehicle the problem still existed.

Car Will Not Start problem #3

The contact owns a 2001 Chrysler Concorde. While driving various speeds at night, the headlights intermittently illuminated. In addition, the vehicle failed to start and had to be jumpstarted. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, mike caboone, who diagnosed that the wiring in the light failed and needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not safe to drive. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but did not offer assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 174,878.
