The contact owns a 2003 Chrysler Concorde which was purchased in 2005. The camshaft sensor continued to fail on the vehicle. There was a manufacturer's recall issued by Chrysler to replace the cam shaft sensor and repairs were done; however, the failure recurred. Chrysler recall number 18j18182 recall j18 camshaft sensor pcm is related to the failure. The vehicles rpms would not exceed 2500 rpms and began stalling. She also stated that when the engine is turned off it would not restart for approximately one hour. The failure occurred every 12 months. A diagnostic test was performed by an independent mechanic which verified that the camshaft sensor was faulty. No repairs have been made to date to correct the failure. The current and failure mileages were under 68,034.
