Three problems related to car stall have been reported for the 2004 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have a 2004 Concorde lxi. I also have had very many troubles with my car stalling while driving at various speeds and conditions. The engine will lose power and it will take some time before it starts. It seems that this is a big problem with several models that Chrysler has produced. This problem needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
Car will stall while driving at various speeds and lose power. Thankfully I have been able to steer off of the road each time. Each time this has happened, the dealerships have replaced the camshaft positioning sensor at a cost of $250 each. I am on the third one. They seem to last about 10 months and then are gone again.
Car is continuing to stall. Dealer cannot find what is causing. Car stalled while making a left turn and was consequently hit by another car from behind. No major damage done, as we were only traveling about 5 mph. Car sputters a lot, stalls a lot, and is not safe for me and my 3 small children to drive. Tried to trade it in because I do not feel safe anymore after the wreck, but will cause me a huge financial loss to do this. Please look into this problem. This is complaint number 2 with NHTSA. I see the pacificas were just recalled because of this exact same problem. . . When will you look into the concords?.
