Chrysler Concorde owners have reported 4 problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly (under the seat belt category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both front/rear seat belt buckles failed. Intermittently seat belt buckles released the seat belt latch. This caused the consumer to pull over to buckle in the child safety seat. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.

Seat belts unhook in my 2001 Concorde lxi. I want them recalled and replaced this is a serious situation. Also I have the rubber around each of my doors come loose and this is another issue with the design of the Concorde and Chrysler will not pay to replace them. This is a design problem. The windows whistle because the rubber seal is away from the door. I want Chrysler to replace them.

The female portion of the seat belt buckle in the front center seat is cracked. The dealership is aware of the problem. The part has been on back order since August of 1998.
Due to location of buckle for seat belt consumer has a problem undoing the belt. The buckle is hard to press and seat belt was placed between the front seats and it is too far.
