| Brake Fluid Leak problems |
Driving around local streets, brake pedal began sinking to the floor of the car. There was a slight braking when it reached the floor so I was able to slow and stop the car. Thinking the fluid was low, I drove slowly home and added brake fluid. I pumped the brake pedal a few times but it never came back to feel like solid braking again. Outside the car I noticed brake fluid leaking out from above the gas tank onto the driveway. My brake lines had rusted through and I now have to have them fixed. Funny, I have a 1948 Plymouth sitting in my back yard, and the original brake lines are still intact!.
