Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler LHS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving on freeway consumer put speed control on 70 mph. The consumer then tried to disengage the speed control but could not do so because speed control resumed on its own. The consumer then, in order to turn off speed control, had to put the car in neutral and hit the emergency brake. Consumer took car to dealership, replaced speed control module.
The vehicle jumped forward and run out o control upon starting and engaging the drive gear, crashed into store front. . Yh.
