One problem related to front seat recliner has been reported for the 1997 Chrysler LHS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driver's side seat backrest broke due to broken bolt while driving. The entire seat collapsed backwards when driver entered. Been to dealer & mechanic installed bolt on the side of seat & a put a board in back. On 11/14 was informed vehicle should not have left shop with a board in back. Dealership taking full responsibilty for problem.
