Headlights problems of the 1999 Chrysler LHS

Six problems related to headlights have been reported for the 1999 Chrysler LHS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 05/27/2009

1999 Chrysler Lhs headlight lenses turn yellow decreasing nighttime visibility.

2 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 07/29/2004

While driving with headlights on the consumer noticed poor lighting. Consumer inspected the headlights and saw discoloration of the headlight lenses.

3 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 06/01/2004

Due to extensive usage, the headlights lens became foggy. This decreased the visibility for night time usage. The consumer was told that it would cost $1,100 to replace the entire headlight assembly and lens system.

4 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 02/14/2003

Change headlight bulbs by taking off the front bumper. Ph.

5 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 06/06/2000

Right front head lights and dashboard lights went out for 3 or 4 seconds at night and came back on.

6 Headlights problem

Vehicle has automatic lights that come on by themselves when it gets dark, consumer states headlights and dash lights go off by themselves, after 2 or 3 seconds they come back on, sometimes this repeats for 2 or 3 times before they stay on again.
