All of the dashboard gauges stopped working, the driver seat started moving, all at once. The speedometer stopped working while the driver's seat was adjusting itself--super dangerous!.

Airbag clock spring defect! how many complaints need to filed before NHTSA responds to a major safety issue and investigates this for a possible recall? according to their guide lines, there is no specific number. Maybe they should consider all other vehicles manufactured by Chrysler in 2001, in the same group size but different models, I. E. Intrepid, concorde etc. And this doesn't include cars that people had fixed and or, cars no longer in service who's owners are not aware that it is a safety issue because it's out of warranty. Why are all of the other year and model cars from 1998 to present being recalled, except for the 2001 Lhs??? why is Chrysler charging 3x's as much more for this clock spring as compared to all the others that are almost identical. There can't be that much difference!!! maybe I should go on social media and launch my own campaign to see how many other people have this issue and are not aware of this process. This has been going on for me since 2012. Contacted Chrysler numerous times about this issue!.

I was driving several months ago and my dash light went black. It stopped working. They did not work for several months. Then a week ago they came back on while I was driving. Tonight, after a week of working dash lights, they suddenly stopped working again as I was driving down the road. What is going on? please let me know what can be done.

When driving the dash light dim and the idiot lights come on and the gas and speedometer go dead. Sometime the front drivers seat decides to readjust itself and almost caused me do wreck. Was told all this is know by Chrysler but cant afford to take to shop.

I purchased a Chrysler pacifica brand new with in the first 6 months the thing died out while driving down the parking lot everything locked up and I was unable to steer but I stopped by putting on the emergency brake !! then the next thing is my headlight and brakelights keep going out. I put new bulbs in and in a day or two they are out again, I have put in shop. They said they can't find anything wrong but now it is worse. I can adjust the seats mirrors and the windows work but seems like when radio is off no heating fan blowing r don't at all too !!!! I bought the vehicle back to the dealer and was informed the warranty has expired and to diagnose it will be $550. I said,"no I have extended warranty and it is covered", I have had problems with this car since I bought it at first you were nice now you keep giving me a hard time and say it is all in my head. Power steering works at times but it is too hard to turn when it doesn't work and is unsafe !!! they won't help me out so im complaining now more then ever since I almost wrecked due to the steering and lights not working !!!!!! faulty electrical system !!!.

2001 Chrysler Lhs. The vehicle has about 100,000 miles on the odometer. Issue #1 the vehicle dies suddenly while driving. This is a random occurrence, but very unsafe. I intend to contact Chrysler about this issue, but no safety recalls have been made for this vehicle. Issue #2 vehicle engine surges suddenly when stopped while the driver has their foot on the brake and not touching the accelerator at all. The idle jumps around anywhere from 1,000 - 2000 rpm and then settles back down to normal idle on it's own after a few seconds. This is a random occurrence, but could be a safety issue if the brakes do not hold.

I have a 1997 Chrysler Lhs, most of the time while I am driving all of my instrument will drop down to 0 and the air bag light will come on and the heat will come on full blast hot no matter what setting I have it on. And then when the instrument finaly come back up to the speed that I am going the a/c comes on as well. I took the car to the Chrysler dealership in randolph several times and they still don't know what's wrong with it. Can you please help, this has been going on for a long,long time.

The speed, temperature, and fuel light gauges were inoperative. The manufacturer will be contacted by consumer.

When it rained, the electrical system shut down.

Going 30mph when lights on dashboard came on. Everything shut down (power windows, air conditioner, power steering & abs) . Later restarted & everything was working. Took to dealer & problem was not located or duplicated.

The vehicle experienced problems with the keyless entry system. Nlm.
