Consumer lifted hood to check oil, hood slammed down and injured consumer. Lifts went out on vehicle.

3 Hood Latch problem of the 1996 Chrysler LHS

Failure Date: 10/25/2000

Consumer raised hood, and while consumer was under the hood, reached down to pick up an oil can and hood slammed shut, injuring consumer.
