Two problems related to brake hoses, lines/piping, and fittings have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler New Yorker. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have had to replace the brake line multiple times over a six month period, and also the unibody has rusted out and I am unable to drive the vehicle. I was wondring if there has been a recall on this vehicle.
Had to have break lines replaced-they removed cross member to access line and removed and manufacture tube and replace. $442. 91 for 5 hours of labor and parts---my car was the 7th car in one week to need this expensive repair from a Chrysler car. Garage tells me this is due to calcium on roads or cheap steal from Chrysler. I feel due to poor quality of the Chrysler product-- "help me out. ".
