The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. While driving approximately 65 mph, the front bumper became detached from the vehicle. The contact stopped the vehicle on the shoulder and noticed damage to the front tires. The vehicle was taken to an auto mechanic for repairs after the insurance company inspected the vehicle. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and covered the bumper repair but did not cover the replacement of the tires. Additionally, the front driver and passenger side power seat adjustment switches would not function. The technician advised the contact that the wiring had to be cleaned. The wiring was cleaned but the failure continued. The bumper damage was repaired but the power seat switch was not. The approximate failure mileage was 65,000.
