Wheel problem #1

My engine light has been on since I got the care in may of 2012-, I have always had problems with air going low on the drivers side front tire, and recently my steering has become hard to move even though it has power steering has fluid in it. At times the vehicle will shut off when I back out or come to a stop at a light or stop sign.

Wheel problem #4

Our 2007 Pacifica continues to have problems. One Chrysler dealer stated it was safe to drive and good to go. 2 days later studs on tire broke off. Other side studs were loose and had to be tightened. We took vehicle to another Chrysler dealer who inspected vehicle and had a list of things wrong including ,rear and front motor mounts being broke. Power steering fluid leaking, transmission lines leaking, rear brake pads and front rotors need replacing and wheel alignment right camber off in front and rear alignment off and right toe is off. The first dealer stated they did a front and rear wheel alignment and less than3 weeks later the alignment is that far off. Something radically wrong with this vehicle, and/or first Chrysler dealer. All of this after going through 3 plus sets of shocks and 2 tie rod ends and now another wheel alignment! very unsafe, vehicle with still undiagnosed reason for all this. Chrysler insists the vehicle can be repaired. We do not trust that statement any longer. It is our belief that this car is defective. We believe something in the suspension or design is causing all of these parts to continue breaking, and continuous alignment, tire, brake problems. Now motor mounts and power steering, and transmission leaks. We did not get any value from this car purchase. Chrysler should be held responsible for the defective car we are stuck with. We could have been injured twice already by tires almost falling of car. Now we need to worry about fires from leaking lines and also worry about broken motor mounts. Help us please! this car needs to be taken off the road and we need to be reimbursed. In the meantime we cannot safely drive car any distances as we wait for an answer from Chrysler corp. On what they can do for us.

Wheel problem #5

While coming to a stop in a parking lot the tire valve stem blew off, completely deflating the tire. Six weeks later the same thing occurred to another wheel. It appears that valve stem corroded just below the cap. The pressure inside the tire then blew out the schroeder valve resulting in a quick deflate of the tire. If this had happened at highway speed it could have resulted in loss of steering and possible accident or personal injury. Both tire valve stems have been replaced, but now wondering if the remaining two need to be replaced. Such a design of this product is a potential fatal accident waiting to happen.

Wheel problem #6

I was driving the car to the gas station to put gas in it and the car shut off as I was pulling up to the gas station and there was a car coming towards me and the car had the right of way. I had to literally stop my car and run to the front of the car that was coming towards me in order to prevent and accident of the car running into my car. I know it had enough fuel I keep my tank full and just wanted to fill it all the way up since I had extra funds that week. Ever since the shut off the car had been sputtering and having trouble switching gears. I just purchased this car and it has been a disappointment, one after the other!!!!! then there's an issue with the front end where you hear a popping sound if you should have to unexpectally have to hit the brakes or if you go over a speed bump.

Wheel problem #7

The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph, a loud noise was heard from outside the vehicle as the steering wheel began to vibrate. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer. There were numerous parts replaced on the vehicle over a period of time including two tie rod ends, four shocks and a wheel alignment was performed with each repair. Most recent ly, the lug nut studs were replaced due to the suspension defect. The contact was uncertain of the location of the parts that were replaced for any of the repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 81,000.
