Vehicle was in reverse (r), changed to drive (d) in "prndl" selector and vehicle moved backwards instead of forward when accelerating causing a collision. Police incident report was filled, and Chrysler corporation contacted. Vehicle is at Chrysler dealership for transmission malfunction investigation.
