The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated while driving at 40 mph, there was an abnormal odor coming from the engine compartment. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was a leak in the fuel rail and the fuel rail needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,200.
