1 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 01/11/2012

I was driving on a 2-lane road, light snow coming down going around 45 mph when the headlights went out. Total darkness! I had been driving for about 25 minutes. If there would have been a car behind me I would have been in an accident. I stopped, turned off the engine, restarted the car and the headlights came on. I drove another 7 to 10 miles and the headlights started flashing. Again, I stopped, turned off the engine, restarted the car, but this time I kept the dims on. I had been using the wipers to clear snow off the windshield and also my brights and dims for on-coming traffic. I drove back home with only my dims on. . . . . Lights went out 2 more times. I don't feel safe in this vehicle anymore. Is it going to take a fatality before something is done?.

2 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 06/19/2006

: the contact stated while driving at night the headlights intermittently illuminated on and off without warning. The vehicle was driven to the dealer who could not duplicate the problem.

3 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 03/19/2004

I was driving home at 11:00 pm and just about to get on I 75, and my headlights went out. I had tail lights and I could use my flashers. I took it to the dealers next day and they found nothing wrong with it. I told them to put a new battery in it no matter what. I haven't driven it at night since. I'm afraid to drive it at night.

4 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 01/12/2001

Low beam headlights fail to activate or go out. Activiating high beams restors low beams. Happened twice so far upon initial turn on. Have heard of them going out while driving. Concerned!.

5 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 06/14/2000

1. Steering wheel became loose on shaft while traveling at 68-70 mph; 2. Headlights would flicker from bright to dim, and 3. Front weels out of alignment. Most problem was corrected by dealer. >> please feel free to provide any further details on this matter.

6 Headlights problem

Low beam headlights-from the Chrysler manual- "the headlamp low beam pattern has a distinct horizontal cutoff line which is used to visually align the headlamps. " this means that there is only part of a beam from each light shining on the road. The rest I.
