Electronic Stability Control problem #1

Chrysler Pt Cruiser 70000 miles. Service done regularly. Changed battery for the first time 5 months ago. A few days before the radio was flickering off and on. Did think much of it until one day just before arriving home, the dashboard indicators all flickered off an on. Parked the vehicle, restarted, but the indicator light stays on. Vehicle is only driven less than 10 miles a day. Happens more often. Tipm module was replaced at dealer 5 years ago, when power windows were not working.

Electronic Stability Control problem #2

I was driving on the freeway when the engine light came on (which it never had before), and within less than a minute the car ceased up, lost power and died. I was able to make it to the side of the freeway as it started puttering before ceasing completely. This incident has happened at least four more times since original date. I had the motor tested at the auto body shop and the said the cam sensor needs checked but the engine is burning my oil up and since this happened and has had to have oil put in 3 times since then in order to make it run when it stops. Just last month I spent over 500. 00 replacing the radiator and power steering lines which I was informed was part of a recall on this vehicle but was not covered since it didn't apply to my VIN #. I am scared because I have children I drive with and because I cannot afford to keep repairing this vehicle, which is my only means of transportation. The vehicle was paid for in cash in full and has no recourse from the dealer or so I was told.

Electronic Stability Control problem #3

My pt cruser when driving it all gages shut down the come right back on car is still running and its not safe to drive with not being to tell how fast your going some times it dose it 3 times some times it gose off 40 times.

Electronic Stability Control problem #4

Abs and stability control lamps illuminated, for the next week, the fault was intermittent. Workshop checked out fault, couldn't find fault with wheel sensors and couldn't reset fault. Developed into multiple instrument panel display indications, upto 10 flashing panel lights, and momentary power failure effecting all systems and engine. Internet including youtube states common problem not acknowledged by Chrysler. Some suggestions that ignition switch is fault but nothing certain. Car has only 37k miles so reluctant to start changing expensive electrical parts without guarantee of repair, I. E. Abs computer ecu, instrument pack etc. Looked at recent recall for gm, my Pt Cruiser cabriolet was manufactured in mexico in 2007. The parts involved in gm recall are delphi from mexico between 2005-7. Is this the same problem? please note I live in england, great britain so the zip and daytime phone number are from beverley hills! use 00447768911486 number which is uk cell phone, thanks, phil.
